GFA U12 Girls : Knocknacarra 2 - Kiltullagh 1

U12 girls lost 2 - 1 to Knocknacarra this morning in Galway. A last minute penalty gave the Galway girls the points. All our girls played fantastic football and had enough chances to have won the game. It was a great game to watch and the girls should feel proud of their efforts.

Good Luck Jordan McMahon!

Teamsheet from Galway Uniteds U15 squad for todays opening U15 clash with Cork City played in Midelton today.  In the starting lineup was our very own Jordan McMahon who transferred to Galway United. Jordan had a number of very successful seasons with our underage teams and was selected for this seasons Galway United squad for the upcoming U15 National league.   Well done to Jordan and good luck to him and to Galway United for the season.

Kiltullagh 1 - 2 Renmore

Brendan, Tommy and Roy felt sorry for the lads today as the effort they put in could not be faulted. Just sometimes lady luck will not shine on you. We lost to a 90th minute corner. We had 7 or 8 corners in the second half and piled on the pressure but that vital winner did not come our way. We had to call on a few u14s today as a few lads were away. The u14 boys who joined us all came direct from another match so fair play to Rian Earls, Fergus Deel ey, Dean Keane, Niall Dillion and Mark Johnson for helping us out today.   It was a real top of the table clash the first half was tight but I'd say we had the better chances. Rowan Lane set up Ronan Brett for a shot that just went over the bar. Ethan Lally was brilliant on corners sending in some lovely crosses. Renmore had real pace on the wings but luke Ray and Rian Earls were brilliant all day against their wide men. The whole back 4 were excellent all day. Galway United u15s have one of our players but thankfully we still ...
